University Health Services Marketing & Communications provides resources and materials to tell the University Health Services story to our community and beyond. We seek to empower staff to be brand ambassadors at events, initiatives and within their day-to-day functions. Services

Marketing & Communications can assist with brainstorming for your event or initiative to help maximize reach and impact. We also can assist with brainstorming effective strategies to elevate service lines or offerings. Complete our project request form to begin conversations surrounding your event or initiative.

University Health Services Marketing & Communications adheres to Texas A&M University and Texas A&M Health brand guidelines. We can assist with creating print and digital materials, such as:

  • Brochures and fliers
  • Event materials, including invitations and signage
  • Graphics, including social media, website and digital signage
  • Newsletters and bulk emails
  • Posters and banners
  • Reports and impact statements

To expedite requests, a template repository is now available for University Health Services staff to utilize for various graphic design needs. Email uhsmarcomm@tamu.edu to request access to the template repository. Draft designs must be submitted for MarComm approval via our project request form.

Marketing & Communications help share the University Health Services story. We provide media and public relations support and guidance to promote relationship building with members of the media. Our available media and public relations services include:

  • Media training for University Health Services staff
  • Serving as the liaison between media and University Health Services staff
  • Media inquiry coordination, as appropriate
  • Drafting news stories and media content for newsworthy events and/or initiatives, as appropriate 
  • Crisis communications

Marketing & Communications works closely with the Texas A&M Health Multimedia Production Team to capture photo and video assets at events, initiatives and other opportunities. Request photo and/or video coverage or assets via our project request form.

Marketing & Communications uses digital platforms to promote department offerings, educate audiences on a variety of topics, and elevate the department’s story and value. We can assist with creating or approving digital content to be published via the following applications:

  • Social media
  • Digital signage (screens displayed within University Health Services facilities and around campus)
  • Email marketing campaigns
  • E-newsletter content
  • University Health Services Digital Calendar (University Health Services staff may be given limited access to submit events for inclusion on this calendar. Please contact us if you would like to request access.) 

Marketing & Communications develops and manages content displayed on the University Health Services website based on the department’s needs, user feedback, web analytics, and more. Content creation, updates and revisions should be initiated by submitting our project request form.

University Health Services Brand Toolkit

Marketing & Communicaitons strives to tell the University Health Services story through the lens of the larger Texas A&M University brand, adhering to the brand and style guides of both Texas A&M and Texas A&M Health, in addition to following AP Style.
