Rakhi Sen

Biography

Dr. Rakhi Sen received her doctorate from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. As a Psychologist, she has worked in University Counseling Center settings throughout her career to support student retention and success. Dr. Sen has served and empowered college students by addressing their concerns through therapy, outreach and consultation. She has also supervised numerous therapists-in-training as part of their journey toward becoming full-fledged professionals in the field. Dr, Sen’s professional interests include: identity development, trauma concerns, interpersonal psychotherapy, use of stories and metaphor in therapy, spirituality issues, role and nature of counseling in non-western cultures, supervision and training.
