Rakhi Sen
Biography
I approach therapy from a relational perspective and work to build a safe, affirming, non-judgmental and collaborative space where students can feel empowered to address their concerns. I integrate aspects of multiple theories (including psychodynamic, feminist, emotion-focused, ACT, and CBT) to understand and address the factors underlying the presenting concern. My professional interests include: identity development, trauma concerns, interpersonal psychotherapy, use of stories and metaphor in therapy, spirituality issues, role and nature of counseling in non-western cultures, supervision and training.
