Approach to Therapy and Professional Interests
I am clinically trained in Systems Theory which looks at a client’s relational dynamics and surrounding contexts that may reinforce problematic interactions between individuals. I operate primarily from a Solution Focused perspective by determining what changes clients want to make in their lives to reach specific goals set for therapy. I am also interested in the tenants of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy because I believe that connection to our values can help us produce change that lead us towards living a more vital and meaningful life.
Personal Interests
When I am not in my office, I love to dance! I enjoy reading books about psychology and philosophy, listening to podcasts, and doing yoga. I also consider myself an amateur barista at home!
