Angie McDonald, LPC-S
Biography
I love my role as the embedded counselor within the College of Arts and Sciences. I have the opportunity to support the students' mental and emotional needs. Working with a staff that exemplifies the Aggie Core values every day is a privilege. My clinical approach to counseling is person-centered. I believe we can reach our full potential. Unconditional positive regard, empathy, and congruence are necessary for the therapeutic relationship. I also feel counseling is a safe place to explore thoughts, behaviors, and feelings that can sometimes get in our way.
