My approach to therapy is authentic, collaborative and solution oriented. I foster an environment and relationship where authentic, non-judgemental, insightful self awareness can grow. I also enjoy coming up with ways to expand awareness outside of the therapy room and to apply insights in your life. My professional interests include working with individuals who experience depression, anxiety, family issues, couple issues, trauma recovery, spiritual issues, and professional identity. Currently, I am working with the College of Veterinary Medicine and the wonderful students, residents and interns there.

As a supervisor, I want to create a relationship based on authenticity, connection, growth and professionalism. I see my role as helping you gain confidence and competence in your own professional identity as a counselor. I believe bringing who you are into your work as a therapist is valuable for you and for you clients, and work with you to do that. Development as a counselor is a lifelong journey and I enjoy being on the journey for a brief moment as people begin their professional career.
